How funny is this???

No, not this scrapbook page :) !
Do you know? One of the things that has stopped me updating my blog has been the lack of comments - I kind of sat here thinking that nobody looked at it and was kind of wondering if it was worth bothering.

I've just been and found 20 comments to be moderated LOL!!

I forgot that when someone was trying (and failing) to be funny months ago and put horrible messages in the comments box, I switched to moderating comments - um, but I forgot that LOL!

So, now I know that people are looking, and appreciating, then maybe I'll update a bit more - duh!
So, above is a scrapbook layout that we did at Scrap Club on Monday night. Our Scrap Club has been going for about 5 1/2 years now and we always have fun. We lost our way a little for about a year but Zoe and I have taken charge again and we're doing some fab layouts and mini books - all with Stampin' Up! stuff of course!
I must also apologise for my lack of 2nd post on the Safari - I had a puncture and couldn't fix it :) so I failed to get to my destination that day! Oops.
I know that I am always saying that time just goes by far too quick but that never seems to change - what is going on? Anyone know how to get another few hours in each day - preferably when the phone doesn't ring, new emails don't arrive and there is peace and quiet for me to just "catch up!?
Anyway, still got a list of things that I told myself that I was going to do today as my To Do list is getting bigger and bigger and not going down at all. Did manage to cross a few things off of it today, but then added on just as many too.
And to think that we are heading towards Halloween, Kian's birthday and Christmas too - arrrghhhhh!!!!
Nevermind,
Have fun,
Natalie x
P.S. Does anyone know why even though I've got gaps in between my paragraphs where I type, they don't show up on this blog post? Bemuses me every time it does it!

All Aboard!!!!!

Welcome, welcome anyone who has arrived via the Stampin' Up! Safari and Jo's blog. I didn't want to spoil you by putting this up too early seeing as Jo's stop was delayed, so we find ourselves with a slight delay today too. Hopefully overnight, the Safari might just catch up a bit LOL!
Here is my item using the new fabulous Animal Stories Stamp Set and matching Tall Tales Designer Series Paper and lastly the new Medium Window Sheets (acetate!).
I love the So Saffron and Certainly Celery colours of these sets and did you notice that ribbon that was from the special ribbon bundle.
With christmas approaching, this is a great time to get box making and if you use the white or black Staz-on ink, you can stamp any designs onto the acetate before you make the boxes too :)
Why not go back to Caz's blog tomorrow for the next stop of the Safari and I'll see you again in a few more days for more fun and frivolity.
Have fun!

Enjoy the weekend,

Is that wild animals I hear?????

I can't believe it's the 1st October already - seems only a few weeks ago that it was the release of last year's new Stampin' Up! catalogue!

But here we are, with a sparkling new catalogue again, and to celebrate the launch, a few of the SU team I am in are having a little blog safari :)
We are starting off at the lovely Stampin' Caz today, and she has the link for tomorrow's visit to Jackie. Each day one of us will have something made with a set from the new catalogue and details of new products.
By following the links each day, you will be led on the safari around our blogs. I look forward to seeing you here in a few days whilst you have gone around some of the other talented Demonstrators blogs first - I'm last as always - good for me - I get a few more days to get mine together!
Anyway, did somebody say a new catalogue????

Sooooo many great new additions - I can't wait for my goodies to arrive.

Invitations have gone out to local ladies to join Zoe and I as we launch the catalogue at our party tonight. If you're not up to anything, why not join us at Maidenbower Junior School from 7.30pm this evening to have a look at the catalogue yourself :)

Gotta go.

Have fun!

This time a week ago......

I was still recovering from this!!!! Our first Stamp With Us Retreat was a complete blast. Everyone had a fantastic time (well, that is what they told us!) and they were already asking when the next one would be half an hour into the first class! Well, we did spoil them as you can see from some of the goodies shown here!

Life is whizzing by as usual. The kids broke up from school tody - ahhh six weeks of "I'm bored!" - can't wait! My husband was made redundant three weeks ago so he has the delights of looking after then whilst I go to work at the moment until he finds work. He's been for a few interviews and has more to go to so I don't hold out on him being home for the whole of the summer holiday, but that would save a childcare problem :) I'll keep you updated on that one.

Below is a picture of this months Kits "By Mail". I have done a new website www.natalieoshea.co.uk which has alot of stuff on. I was finding that I couldn't keep everything on a blog up the top and there was just too much to keep going on about, so decided I would start a proper website which had a shopping cart and all sorts! Anyway, below is the Petal Party kit which is July's kit. All supplies to make 18 cards - and how summery - this is one of my most favourite kits that SU do - really bright and fresh.

Well, the boys are at their final football tournament on Saturday then I think we get a month or so off until it all starts again - hurrah! They love it but it does take over our lives somewhat!

Anyway, swine flu has hit our next door neighbour and our boys school so it really is a reality now - I don't think you think too much about it until it's on your doorstep - and now it quite literally is. The neighbour is fine though just a day later - those drugs must be good!

Anyway, I've got the on-line classes that I am prepping for at the moment together with a Wheel Class on Monday so had better go - I've got some kits to pack! Have a look at www.stampwithus.blogspot.com to sign up for the on-line classes starting August 1st - 10 PDF classes and more for just £15!

Have fun and I'll try and be back soon again!

I know, I know

Do you know how hectic life is around here at the moment?

I trialled Kits "By Mail" and there was far more interest than I expected!

For those that can't attend classes or don't have an SU rep near you, I put together a Tart & Tangy Kit "By Mail" where you got the Stamp set and everything you needed to make the following:

It was a great success and something that I will add to my *new* website! Watch this space - it's coming :)

A little matter of the first Stamp With Us Retreat in Guildford this weekend is keeping me up many hours this week.

We've had sons birthday parties which is why we have the first card shown - he is a football nut and loved his card :)

We've had my birthday too which was lovely but over far too quickly.

Lots and lots more news too but up to my eyes in retreat stuff.

I am off next Monday and Tuesday so hoping to recover from weekend and get "caught up" :)

Have fun!

Happy Fathers Day!

Hi again,

Here is the card that I made for my father in law - he liked it.

It's also the card that I made for the Stamp With Us challenge blog.

Lots planned this week. I have a Stampin' Up! party and class this week, a little boys birthday coming up on the 30th that I have to go shopping for, and the usual stuff too!

I'll fill you in on some of the other things in a few more days.

Hope you have all enjoyed the sunshine this weekend - it's supposed to be gorgeous this week - can't wait!

Have fun!

I didn't want to come back :(

:) Until I could keep up a regular pattern.

I am so sorry I have neglected my blog recently.

I have the worst habit of taking on too many things, then stopping them, then getting free time, then getting bored, then taking on more things...... you see a pattern here :) ?

Life has just been soooooooooo busy.

Working part-time in an office, together with being a mum and and wife with the chores that goes with that doesn't leave much time to play at Stampin' Up!

I love doing SU parties, classes and workshops and back in April took Tuesdays off to concentrate on growing my SU business so that one day in the future, I could maybe do SU full-time. I get so carried away with ideas and put that together with lots of people who love the idea too and we all get carried away.

Just in the next few weeks, I have classes, workshops, on-line classes, weekend retreats, kits by mail and more to organise - arrrghhhhh!

So, I am going to keep this reasonably short (in terms of subject not length!) and then I'm going to try and update at least once every three days.

Here goes then, today is going to be final countdown to the retreat:

Just a quick note to give you some more information about our upcoming retreat.

It is now just under a month away and hope that you are as excited as we are about it. We already know that we are going to have great fun!

Booking for this weekend retreat will close on 30th June 2009, so if you know of anyone who has been thinking about joining us, if you could let them know, they need to hurry - just two more weeks before we need to ensure we have enough of everything for everyone.

So, to confirm some of the finer details then......

If you need directions to the venue, have a look at this link http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/h/d/hi/925/en/hd/guisu and you can take a virtual tour of the hotel and put your postcode in to get directions.

For those staying the Friday night, you are able to check into your rooms from 2pm and the pool, gym, bar and restaurant will all be available for use.

The Holiday Inn still have some rooms reserved for us, so if you haven't had a chance to book your room yet, make sure that that you give them a call. You can use the main number or 01483 784444. This number is manned Monday to Friday 8am to 5.30pm. You need to quote "Stamp With Us" weekend and reference code KL6. On Saturday 20th of June, they will release any rooms that they are holding for us, so you will still be entitled to our rates but you can only book if they have availability.

Just to remind you the rates are £80 per room for one night (£80 if single, £40 each if twin) and an additional £55 per room if you want to stay an additional night (Friday or Sunday). Again £55 if single, £27.50 pp if twin.

Registration will start at 8am on Saturday morning. We have four 2 hour classes planned for you for each day, so breaks and light lunch will be reasonably short but we thought you'd rather have more time to play with paper :). Lunch is included within your payment. Classes will continue until 5.30pm.

You will then be free to organise your own evening meal. The hotel does bar food, has a restaurant, has room service and there is a Tescos across the road too :)

On Saturday night, we have big plans for our CHRISTMAS PARTY!!!! There will be Make & Takes, Demos, games and general fun, so don't forget your Santa hat and your Bauble earrings to join the fun LOL! This will be from 7.30pm onwards.

On Sunday, breakfast is included if you are staying in the hotel, but classes will start again at 8.30am, with four classes going on throughout the day. Another light lunch is included. We will aim to finish the day between 5pm and 6pm.

So if you are not joining us - what are you waiting for? And if you can't do all weekend - how about joining us just for the day?

Anyone else want to come and "Stamp With Us?"

See you within three days. Promise!

There will definately be an echo on here right now :)

I forever seem to be apologising for never updating my blog and yes, I'm sorry again !

Sometimes, life just gets in the way and that can't be helped!

Soooooooooo, what has been keeping me so busy then?

Well................

1. The Stamp With Us online classes have been going on for the last two weeks and they have been a great hit - a great bunch of ladies joined us and we all had a blast. More news of Stamp With Us Summer coming in the next few days.....

2. Trying to organise the Stamp With Us Retreat in July and Scrappers Paradise in October is keeping me quite busy too :)!

3. Various classes and challenges that I have been teaching and being part of!

4. Looking after my growing Stampin' Up! family of now 11 ladies - woo hoo! keeps me busy too!

5. Running a solicitors office, being a mum and a wife takes a bit of time too!

6. The boys are in football tournaments, academies, after school clubs and training, it seems ALL the time - I can't tell you how many times I have to wash football kits in a week LOL!

Overall, things are okay and I am hoping it will become a bit quieter for a little while. My hubby's job is up in the air at the moment which puts a big grey cloud over us at the moment - the joys of working in the car industry! He has had a "letter" and several meetings re redundancy but nothing confirmed yet, so it's just a waiting game.....

Can't believe that the kids are back off of school again next week - haven't they just gone back? Surprise, Surprise - mine are in a Chelsea Football school for the four days of next week and another special Inset Football Training day on the following Monday too! I like to wear them out LOL! They love it and kick a ball around practically 18 hours a day! I'll be thankful when they pay off my mortgage for me with their first weeks wages :)
The card above is my weeks entry to the Stamp With Us Challenge - www.stampwithus.blogspot.com - I really loved the inspiration picture we had to work with as I wouldn't normally a) add that many colours together b) add those bright colours together! I made it with one of my downline in mind - Clare has just had her first promotion, so I gave it to her to congratulate her on her success - well done Clare!
Right, well I am going to stop there and post again in a couple of days.... I promise!
Stampin Up have some great offers on this month and we're already nearly two thirds of the way through the month!
Speak soon!
Have fun!

*Tip toes in very quietly*

How is a girl to get any work done when somebody else just wants to just "be with you". My 12 year old baby just keeping his mum company!

Some cards that I did to thank my Stampers 6 group for their orders last month!
Am I forgiven now that I've given you photos LOL?
Life has been suuuuuppppppeeeerrrrr busy!
Scrappers Paradise is this weekend and I am really looking forward to it. We have such a lovely group of ladies who have become regulars and I am really looking forward to catching up with them again. For the first time ever, I am actually organised and ready to go - classes done and all sorted out!
We have had a phenomenal response to Stamp With us! Are you joining us on May 1st? In the next couple of days you'll see an example of what you can expect from the on-line classes. We have had a great response to the weekly challenges too - why don't you join in or have a look? There is some fantastic creations on Mr Linky!
I have done several classes both scrapbooking and card making classes which I've really enjoyed and next week is very very busy for me. I come back from Paradise and then I have Monday night to recover but I have a SU party on Tuesday, another one on Wednesday and then a class on Thursday. Friday - I pass out LOL! I love it though :)
But a very busy week this week has mean't that I am really tired now and together with the fact that I've got Paradise on Friday, I'm going to have an early night tonight - I'm not sure quite how much sleep I am going to get over the weekend.
Have fun and I will be back as soon as I can!

Friday, 3 April 2009

Well what a two weeks it's been! Phew!

So I've had one class, two Stampin' Up parties, a new SU! Mini Catalogue launch. SU! field training and oh, just the little thing of

Just slightly busy then LOL! That's not including my "proper" job and being both a wife and mother too thrown into that lot too - it;s been a whirlwind!

So, in a whirlwind rundown.....the class was great - as usual - Crazy for Cupcakes was used and here are some of the cards that we made:

The SU parties / workshops were fun - some hardcore SU fans came and loved what the new catalogue brings us. Who doesn't want those oval punches?

Field training was great - always good to catch up with a bunch of ladies who just get "it!"

We always do a swap of cards / card fronts when we go to these type of events. Now for the first time ever, I didn't want to stress myself out with extra jobs to do with everything else going on, so I didn't sign up. Then I felt guilty! :) So last minute, I thought if I gave everyone chocolate, they might forgive me for not doing a card! So this is what everyone got from me:

The flower is from the new Petal Pizzaz set stamped in Regal Rose and the sentiment is from the Friendship Circles set stamped in Chocolate Chip of course!

Here are the Make and Take's that we made using the Forest Friends set which includes this tree, Bambi, Thumper and the Wise Old Owl :). I love this set and think it is great for all sorts of things!

I was also a very good upline and made a book for my downline to make notes in the meeting all personalised with Sweet always papers, Flower Fusion flowers (best felt flowers ever!), brads from the Hodgepodge Kit and chipboard letters coloured with my *new* marker pens and the White Doodling pen. I can't believe that the chipboard retained the proper ink colour (didn't discolour!) and there were no streaky colouring in marks either - they were great!

So.......Stamp With Us went live on Wednesday and we have launched the Challenges, the on-line class and the retreat in our first three days - what are you waiting for, get over here to find out more information! It's very very exciting!

Right well that has been the last two weeks in a nutshell. Now we are all up to date, I'll see if I can update a little bit more often - I'm hoping things will be calming down a little now :)

Have fun and enjoy the weekend!

Can you believe that I have actually crafted today.....for me!

Well, the above is actually a card for my mum for Mother's Day tomorrow - nothing like leaving it to the last minute!
Anyway on Monday, my mum is flying off to Malaysia for 10 days and so as there wasn't much point in buying her fresh flowers - she wouldn't be here to appreciate them - I did the next best thing and made a bouquet of paper ones!

I have to say that I really wasn't very keen on this collection in the new Mini Catalogue from Stampin' Up!, but it really has grown on me.
The paper flowers in the bouquet were individually cut out from a sheet of one of the patterned papers from the Tea Party papers as is the cone that they sit in. Each flower is held in place with a hat pin and a crystal from the SU Pretties kit!
The image on the card is actually stamped from the co-ordinating Stamp Set called Playful Petals and coloured with my new marker pens. Ooo0o - I think that I love them even more now - they don't dry streaky at all on the Whisper White card - it's a really beautiful finish.
Anyway, I've got thank you cards to make and a class to prepare for over this weekend, so better get on - just thought that I would share these with you and wish you all a
Happy Mothers Day tomorrow - whether you are one or not - go and spoil yourself and enjoy the rest of the beautiful weekend.
Have fun!

Sharing the Stampin' Love!

Here are a couple of photos of what I was doing on Saturday! There is a lovely group of ladies who get together once a month in a small village close by to craft - some make cards, some scrapbook. They enjoy each others company and Karen's (the organiser) husband, makes the best home cooked lunch and brings it to them half way through the day.
Well, I was there on Saturday morning making a card and matching tag with them showing the two step stamping technique similar to what I did with my mum's birthday card and the Rose is a Rose set.
I have lots of exciting things coming up that I should be able to share with you over the next day or two - just watch this space, so much going on - and all good!

There is lots of reasons to be cheerful, but here is one of them.

As Stampin' Up! are attending the Hobbycraft shows, they are offering a 10% discount on the Starter Kit from 12th - 25rd March 2009. But what is really great, is that they are letting us offer it too!

Now, I'm sure that we all know how easy it is to have a wish list entering the £100's so why not treat yourself during this special offer time?

And just to confirm, Stampin' Up! encourage Hobby Demos (people who order just for themselves at a discount) or people who want to their own business -it's entirely up to you.

So, what are you waiting for? Email me now natalie@oshea26.freeserve.co.uk to find out more info or give me a call on 01293 888816 and why not join my team where you will receive my support and much more.

Stamp A Stack class

Hello,
Last Thursday evening I ran a Stamp-A-Stack class. The ladies coming had said that they wanted to make 9 cards aimed at mainly men / boys and the above cards are the nine cards that we made. Sorry about the bad pictures again - bad light around today matched with the fact that I couldn't use my tripod! Must get that sorted out!
All the patterned paper, card, ribbon, buttons and adhesive die cuts were all from the Rock Star Card Elements kit from Stampin' Up! and the other bits used were some circle punches, white and blue doodling pens and the co-ordinating SU Starring You stamp set.
I love the Elements kits! Not only are the blues and greens of this kit right up my street, they also have a set which is all pink, purple and flowery. The kits come with everything that you need to make 10 cards and three of the cards above are the examples that come with a "how to" sheet in the kit.
At the bargain price of just £12.50 per kit, I think they are both great value and are ideal for quick cards when you are running out the door.
I just want to let everyone know that you don't have to order at a party to get the Stampin' Up! products that you like! Contact me at any time and I can have your order delivered directly to you from Stampin' Up! So, if you fancy one of the Elements Kits or anything else, then email me and I'll get it organised for you.
On other topics.....Hubby and I ventured off to Oxford this weekend and had a lovely time. I think we both just needed to get away from everything and just do "whatever we want to do, whenever we want to do it!" If we want to get someone else to cook dinner and eat it in bed, we could do, same for breakfast, afternoon drinking and relaxing, visiting the spa - it was pure bliss! Reminded us of why we fell in love in the first place and we toasted our 17 years together (oh blimey, that makes me feel old!!!!!!!)
Lots and lots to share with you this week - exciting offers and news from Stampin' Up! and a few more cards etc to share with you too so will be trying very hard to update more regularly!
Have fun!
