Well what a week!

So, this week has been more house renovation and shopping!

The front room is being decorated this week and should be finished today with any luck.  When this and the other two rooms that have been under a refurb have been finally finished, I will share photos of them - I'm very happy!

However, it has been horrible getting three rooms done in a month and I have just about had enough of workmen, deliveries and all sorts going on, so will be happy when it is all finally finished.  I'm not sure what it is with me, the last time we did decorating / renovating we had a conservatory put in and then a garage conversion straight after - we don't seem to do things by halves - or even spread out LOL!

It's my birthday tomorrow (yay!) so you might want to come back and check out this blog tomorrow for a very very special offer that I have for my blog readers just for the next week!  That's all I'm saying on that one.

Well, to celebrate my birthday in style, Stampin' Up! decided to treat me to a few days in Monaco - they said that I deserved it, so off I trot next Wednesday!  One night has been classified as "cocktail dresses" so of course, this meant a trip to Bluewater and one outfit later.  I had a lovely day with my mum and was thoroughly spoilt.  An outfit and champagne and lobster for lunch at Loch Fyne - what more can a girl ask for as a birthday treat?

On Wednesday night, I was over at Clare's house doing a 5 for £5 workshop.  It works similar to a normal Stampin' Up! workshop but instead of one Make & Take, attendees make 5 cards and pay £5 or if they place a Stampin' Up! order for £30 or more, the class fee is waived.

There were 9 lovely ladies and we had a ball - several of the ladies were complete novices but they were soon converted and the "oohs and ahhs" were testament to the fact that they had a great time!

Above is one of the cards that we made - simple yet elegant - perfect as a Wedding Acceptance card or any occasion where Thanks are needed.

Another card we made is below, suitable for birthdays or a "Just because..." occassion.

I'll be back another time to share some of the others with you but if you like these cards and would like your own 5 for £5 workshops, then please get in touch!

Have fun!
