Crazy Crazy round here

This is going to be quick and then I'm going to run again.

The school holidays are in full swing now - the "I'm bored!'s" have already started - yep, it's just week 1!

I'm up to my eyes in magazine work which I have to have completed before I go away.

The shop to get Ethan's new school uniform for September is only open until next week.

Operation "have we got everything we need for 9 days away from home" has started to get ready for next week when we leave for Tenerife!  We do have a house sitter whilst we are away to feed the cat but who knows what it will look like when we return!

I will be back to let you know Stampin' Up!'s August offer and about a day event Zoe and I have in September, but it won't be much crafting from me at the moment I'm afraid.

Hope you and your children are surviving the holidays if they have started in your house.

Have fun!

Hello strangers :)

It's been a while again hasn't it?  I forever seem to think that time flies when you are having fun and we have certainly been having that around here at the moment.

Things are really busy as we are today at the last day of term for the boys.  Ethan leaves Junior School today and ventures up to High School (secondary school to us oldies!) in September.  He is really looking forward to it which is great although the signs of "Kevin and Perry" are already starting to show!

So in two hours, we have six weeks of "I'm bored" starting :)

It's been an incredibly busy week what with one thing and another but I did find time yesterday to make these for the boys to give to their teachers...

I have used Stampin' Up! Night & Day papers together with some gems that I got in Paperchase to make a small card that goes in the pocket on the front of the bag and I put some nice chocolates in a cellophane bag inside too.  Hopefully the teachers will like them!

Anyway, not got long until they come back, so I'd better get on!

Have fun!

I'm getting married in the morning

Ding, dong the sun is going to shine (oops - I do know that it's bells are going to chime, really!)

But wow, what a day I had on Saturday.  One of the girls that I used to work with at the Solicitors got married on Saturday - what a day to get married - the weather was just beautiful.

It was a really lovely day.  I don't get to go to many weddings anymore - we're too old and all the kids are too young LOL!  It was great to see all the girls again and a good day was had by all.  Congratulations Mr & Mrs Willis!

Above is the card that I made for them.  I was inspired by something similar that I found on Split Coast Stampers but of course can't find the original now (sorry!).

Anyway, I know that I am being a rubbish blogger lately - sorry - just trying to fit too much into this week and next before the kids break up for SIX WEEKS!

Well it's been another busy week

Wow - I've been up to my eyes with mag work this week working all hours of the day and night.  I am really happy to report though that the next editions of Cards, Scrapbook Trends, Simply Handmade and Bead Trends will be out in the shops at the end of this month.

I am even more pleased to announce that with this month's copy of Cards magazine, comes a free copy of my baby :)

Yep, you heard me right!  There will be a 48 page mini mag version of STAMPING TRENDS.  And there will be a free mini mag on the next three issues of Cards.  Then, come the November issue, it will be a full size fully fledged member of the Trends series - wooo hoooo!

So, as you can imagine, it's all been a little hectic :)

Through in an 11 year old's birthday with lots of visitors and a sleepover which is still going on now, and it's been busy busy busy.

So busy, I've not had time to craft at all, but then I'm hoping that will change this week.

That's all I've got for you now, no pics, no nothing - sorry, but hopefully that will change shortly!
